Siete pronti per il 2011?

Per me ci saranno tante cose da fare: la mia laurea, le vacanze che io e monsieur già programmiamo, il matrimonio di una mia carissima amica (la prima a sposarsi!). Sono così emozionata!!

Ma...andiamo per gradi...ci sono le foto scattate questa mattina da mostrarvi :)

Are you ready for the 2011?

There will be many things to do for me: my degree, the holidays that I and monsieur are planning, the marriage of one of my dearest friends (the first bride!). I'm so excited!!

But...one step at a time...there are my today pics to show you :)

Spero di piacervi: stamattina mi sono vestita al buio (giuro!) ed è un miracolo che abbia indovinato tutte le tonalità di marrone. Ho anche sfoggiato la mia borsa nuova, è un colore indefinito tra il grigio e il marrone e mi piace davvero tanto!

Hope you like me: this morning I dressed up in the dark (really!) and it's a miracle that all these shades of brown match together. I also put on my new bag, it's an undefined colour between grey and brown and I really like it!

CITY OF ANGELS

Dopo le abbuffate dei giorni scorsi (dalle quali sono uscita misteriosamente indenne), si ritorna finalmente a passeggiare per le strade senza il delirio da regali pre-natalizio. I negozi sono tutti ordinati e i vestiti già ai posti di manovra per l'inizio dei saldi (che emozione!). Monsieur era anche più ispirato, guardate: mi ha messo le ali :)

After eating too much in the past days, finally I went out for a walk without going mad because of Christmas gifts. Stores are all tidy and clothes are still in their place waiting for sales (I'm so excited!). Monsieur was more inspired, take a look: he gave me wings :)

CRAZY WEATHER

Questi giorni saranno frenetici: tra cucina, parenti e tutto il resto non credo che avrò molto tempo da dedicare al blog.

Ad ogni modo, volevo condividere con voi queste foto scattate stamattina mentre pioveva a intermittenza ogni cinque minuti!

The next days will be frenzied: among kitchen, relatives etc. I think I won't have many time to spend here in my blog.

ITALIAN CHIC

Di solito non presto molta attenzione ai comunicati stampa che ricevo, molto spesso non mi interessano, il più delle volte non fanno che scrivere le stesse cose. Qualche giorno fa però vi ho trovato una notizia interessante che voglio condividere con voi: un paio di guanti italiani sono diventati superstar!

Sono lunghi, in suede color rosa cipria, indossati da Angelina Jolie nel film "The Tourist*". Il brand? Sermoneta Gloves, orgogliosamente made in Italy :)

Usually I don't pay much attention to the press releases I receive, they aren't very interesting and always wrote the same things. However some days ago I received an interesting news I want to share with you: a pair of italian gloves became superstar!

They're long, in a light pink suede, worn by Angelina Jolie in her movie "The Tourist*". Their brand? Sermoneta Gloves, proudly made in Italy :)

Se fossi un'attrice superchic (ma anche una editor di moda!) mi piacerebbe moltissimo indossare un paio di questi guanti e, dato che sognare non costa nulla, vi mostro anche i capi da guardaroba da sogno che indosserei per un caffé a Venezia insieme a monsieur (con un pizzetto sexy alla Johnny):

LEATHER BY DAY

Chissà perché ho deciso di uscire di sabato mattina per cercare altri regali. 

Tra la gente, la gente con gli ombrelli e la gente maleducata con gli ombrelli ho rischiato un esaurimento nervoso. Non ho ancora comprato un regalo a monsieur (certo, era con me!) e non ho proprio idea di quello che lui regalerà a me.

Don't know why I decided to go out on Saturday morning to go in search of presents.

Because of people, people with umbrellas and rude people with umbrellas I was likely to have a nervous breakdown. I didn't buy a present for monsieur yet (for sure, he was with me!) and I have no idea of what he will bring to me.

Cosa dite? Non si parla che di regali?

Tranquilli, tra qualche giorno sarà tutto finito e allora cominceremo a parlare di saldi :)

What do you say? Do we only talk about presents?

Don't worry, in a few days everything will be all over and we will be able to talk about sales :)

Come procede la vostra caccia ai regali di Natale?

Io confesso di aver cominciato a comprarli a novembre per poi smettere misteriosamente...e adesso mancano pochi giorni!

How's your Christmas hounting going?

I must confess I started buying presents in November but I mysteriously stopped...and now there isn't much time!

Il freddo si fa sentire sempre di più ed eccomi imbacuccata per bene in giro per negozi. Vi ricordate di questo cappotto? E' con me da quando andavo alle medie, sono riuscita a salvarlo giusto in tempo: mia madre stava per darlo via!

Days are colder so I wrapped up to go out for shopping. Do you remember this coat? It's mine since I attended the junior high, I succeeded in saving it just in time: my mum was about to throw it away!
